Changing ownership of symbolic link

To change the ownership of a symbolic link, we can use the -h switch of the chown command.

For example: chown -h www-data:www-data /var/www/html/folder. The /var/www/html/folder can be created using the ln command. For example: ln -s /srv/folder /var/www/html/folder
